On Volvo 740 and 940 with hydraulic clutch, it is common for the attachment to the slave cylinder to oxidize and crack. With this repair kit, there is no need to take down the gearbox or buy a new clutch cover. Cut off the remains of the old bracket to the clutch cylinder and screw in the new one with the existing screws in the clutch cover (explosion cover).
